Re: MicroWiki thing
Instead of deleting it, why don't you simply remove the redirect and, as you say, put in a list of revolutions that you know of? Others will see this and add theirs, and it will grow. Viatax Sitadi Axdivijink Regigoraauk

Re: MicroWiki thing
I was seeking permission to remove the redirection (or have one of you do it). I'll begin work on a list of revolutions of consequence to myself (which number maybe two in reality) and add it to the list in the near future for further development.

Re: MicroWiki thing
On an interesting note, the original page was not made by Foghorn, but instead by Steven of Antica.Perhaps this should be taken up with him, or with the Anticans as a whole, who seem to be causing more problems in the Wiki then everyone else combined.Of course, since no one else is causing problems, and they've only caused a few, that certainly says something. It is rather annoying that they're using what is to be an unbiased education resource as their primary advertising medium for the Republic and its propaganda. I'm surprised they haven't redirected "micronationalism" to one of their articles or biased it towards their goals yet.

MicroWiki thing
Foghorn has redirected "revolution" to the Antican Revolution, which is of course a horrible misuse of the system as "revolution" at the very least should be an article listing all revolutions in micronational history (as in the overall view, the Antican Revolution isn't anything special). Foghorn seems to think that only the Antican Revolution matters and that's bringing un-needed bias into MicroWiki with respect to this issue.I would delete the article redirection myself, however I believe it's the purview of the administrators to delete articles.

Re: MicroWiki thing
Actually, Aryez has been the most annoying. He posted the most inconsequential additions to the Antica article I've ever seen. But I digress. The redirect was because there are no other "revolution" articles, and I didn't feel like writing one on revolutions just yet. I'll probably get to that sometime this week *dibs!*.As for the RoA article, I'll have it noted that I removed all the biases placed therein by my cohorts. The DoA article on the other hand...And yeah, the Antican Revolution article isn't the most unbiased thing in the world either. We know. we're working on it. ________________It is a damn poor mind indeed which can't think of at least two ways to spell any word.-Andrew Jackson

Well, fix it or there will be no article. Not a threat, mind you: it's a matter of professionalism and standards that we force everyone to adhere to. If someone else was doing the same, the same standards would hold true. Viatax Sitadi Axdivijink Regigoraauk

Re: MicroWiki thing
Can I start enforcing the 500 bytes policy? I'm getting very annoyed by articles like Aryezi Culture:"Aryezi culture, or the culture of Aryez is used to describe the set of rules and customs that are followed in Aryez."

Re: MicroWiki thing
By all means. Although use your judgement - stuff like the Jaris article should stay, because they are far more open to development than Aryez's stuff. They call it a signature, but no one ever signs their posts...

Re: MicroWiki thing
well, Aryez has a penchant for short, meaningless and depthless articles. It's one of the reasons we won't even let him into the Republic. ________________It is a damn poor mind indeed which can't think of at least two ways to spell any word.-Andrew Jackson

Re: MicroWiki thing
How does one tell the size of an article? Also, I have set up a few articles like 2005 which obviously need filling but have minimal content atm... I assume this is OK and that others will contribute to them so they wont be deleted ejen ranti taicardainre (Lachlan Powers)The Grand Commonwealth - Aerlig - MNN - Treesia - mncentre - EIFA - Lemuria

Re: MicroWiki thing
Yup, perfectly fine.500 bytes is approximately the size of the Democracy article, maybe a little less. Also, you can tell the length by going to the Special Pages link and choosing the Short Pages option. If you see your article listed as less than 500b, fix it, or at least add an "Expand" category tag. Viatax Sitadi Axdivijink Regigoraauk
