Re: Vote Calculations
When you measure N for calculating the votes of a Duke, does that include the Baron of the county (since they remain Count of their own county)? *throws grenade for the hell of it*BO0O0O0O0/\/\!!!!!!

*Tries checking his calculated votes for Naudia'Diva*Dukes VotesD=Total Votes of a DukeC=Total number of Counts under a DukeC=5 (not including Duke Fax himself as Count)N=Total number of counts inside of BaroniesN=4 (again, not including Duke Fax as Count)B=Total number of subordinate BaronsB=2 (there are two Baronies, but oddly enough, Fax isn't Baron of either)sooooo...D=2+C+2B+ND=2+5+(2 x 2)+4D=15which, assuming I'm not overlooking anything and this is correct, is different than the 17 I got using the other method.

Re: Vote Calculations
I flamin hate caluclations. Why can't people write stuff? Like in English?I've been trying to understand this and please correct this if I'm wrong:Article the FourthSection A: – VotesClause 1: An independent barony shall have one vote for every count under a baron, and one vote for being a barony.Clause 2: A duchy shall have one vote for every count inside a barony (not counting the Duke himself), one vote for every barony, one vote for every county under the Duke (not counting the Duke himself) not under baronial control, and two votes for being a baron.Section B: – Delegating votesClause 1: Independent barons may delegate votes to their respective spouses.Clause 2: Dukes may delegate votes to their respective spouses.Clause 3: Dukes may delegate votes to subservient barons and subservient barons’ spouses. I've never understood equations. I need to have things written in sentences. I've always hated maths

Well shush. Most people in Shireroth are mathematically minded, and I doubt they would want to pander to the ignorants. Re: Vote Calculations
so a county that is in a barony generates 2 votes If you feel an icy chill...the Conglacio is amongst you
Re: Vote Calculations
God...Write me a draft law please
Re: Vote Calculations
that was a condensed equation. due to the fact that dukes get their barons votes... dukes get 1 vote per baron. barons get a vote for being baron... dukes get that vote... thus.. 2 votes per baron. Re: Vote Calculations
I still don't like the vastly inflated numbers of votes that Dukes get. Baronies should be able to stay independent; not without being at some disadvantage, of course, but it should be at least in some cases practical. Why not change the +2B for Dukes to just a +B?

Re: Vote Calculations
I agree. There are no flowers, no not this time. There will be no angels gracing the lines, just these stark words I find.
Re: Vote Calculations
Cause that comes from Dukes getting their barons votes.remember... dukes than redistribute votes BACK to their barons... that 2B is because a duke themselves get a vote for each barony. And each baron gets a vote for being baron.this is what was in the laws set.. it's not up to me... I just did the calculations. and simplified them for easier use. E.
