So...this Bastion union thing...

Post by Aster »

...Do you have a single political post presiding over the entire union or all its members? Or is your sovereignty completely intact?

It's useful for me in any case - I don't get out much micronationally and I can find the Gralan, Nelegian and Natopian forums with ease now!

Our sovereignty is completely intact. We're just sharing a forum. We may also share diplocorps later.
The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave.
However, this account still manages:
Cla'Udi - Count of Melangia
Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy

And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).

ah okay. What was the rationale for this pseudo-merger, if you don't mind me asking?

General decreasing activity and citizenship levels across the board, mostly. At least that's what I thought about it.

Or an evil conspiracy against nations with A-names!

What Andreas said. Also, some might say there are some cultural similarities among the nations, and there are a lot of dual and triple citizenships, both past and present, among their residents.

I'm just supporting it because it centralizes the coolest nations in one forum (just one account needed to access the greatest nations!)! :angel

In any case, why is this forum still being used?

It isn't, really. It's just open for questions for people like Aster :)

Archival purposes, I would think. Makes sense to keep it around.

Maybe you can have shireroth.org/forum redirect to the Shireroth section of the Bastion Union forum.

I proposed it, but it will probably mess up the links to (or within) this archive.

It would. Unless you basically re-work the database manually. and even then it's a gigantic pain in the ass.

Done it before. After Tgaoth, and to get Ol' Darkie up and running.

Why such a long adress when you can just go via http://bastionunion.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=14 ? :angel
