One preceded by the legal and rightful Kaiser of Shireroth. Of course, you're more than welcome to attend.

You've already had a hand in assassinating me once, are you so unsure of your skill?

Huh?

If there is nothing worse than a haunt, it's a misinformed one.
Of course ghosts tend to relive there last trauma, or so it is said. Must still be deranged.
Hmmm, let's see.....

"Sanji!"
"Yes Milord!"
"Can you handle this?" (Hands him a book)
"I think so."
"Good. I've got work to do." (leaves the room)
"Okey-Dokey!"
(Reads:
Basic means of exorcism are mantra and yajna used in both Vedic and Tantric traditions.
Vaishnava traditions also employ a recitation of names of Narasimha and reading scriptures (notably Bhagavata Purana) aloud. According to Gita Mahatmya of Padma Purana reading of 3rd, 7th and 8th chapter of Bhagavad Gita and mentally offering the result to departed persons helps them to get released from their ghostly situation. Kirtan, continuous playing of mantras, keeping scriptures and holy pictures (esp. of Narasimha) in the house, burning incense offered during a puja, sprinkling water of holy rivers and blowing conches used in puja are considered to be other effective practices.)
"Oh, this is a lot of work. I'll go get the Lysol."

Wouldn't Jacobus be the sore loser since he forced himself in illegally?

You forced him to do so, with your betrayal. The Kaiser's Ghost wrote:Wouldn't Jacobus be the sore loser since he forced himself in illegally?
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

Re: The Death of a Kaiser
As Arbiter of the Imperial Judex, I recognize Andelarion as the legal and legit Kaiser, by decreed Sucession.
As the Regent/Steward of Brookshire I must support the legitimate Kaiser.
As a man who fears and loves the gods, I must respect their wishes, and the pact made so long ago...
i.e. I am torn as to how to proceed personally.
As such, I'm basically staying out of this. Brookshire, and Monty Crisco will take no official side. For now.
Except, to remind all.. This is Shireroth, remember.. we are all friends here. "Loyalty through Friendship".

Re: The Death of a Kaiser
Hey, re: that last point, of course. Anyone who's involved in this little happening should know it, as with everything in Shireroth, is just a bit of fun. In any case - who can dislike Ric? He's the nicest guy in micronationalism!

Of course it's for fun. That's why we are in Shireroth. This little intrigue is making our activity rise!
Aw thanks!
Shireroth is a community of people - we all like each other, so it's about keeping a good spirit as well as having fun while we together are making a great story.

Re: The Death of a Kaiser
As argued elsewhere, the Arbiter has no official role in determining who is and who isn't the legitimate Kaiser. If such a role exists, please refer to the relevant section of the Charter, LawBook or DecreeBook.

The Arbiter has already ruled, there is no point in desputing it unless he wishes to address it himself.

Re: The Death of a Kaiser
Where in the Charter, LawBook or DecreeBook is the Arbiter given the authority to rule on issues of succession to the throne? I ask the Arbiter.

Oh that's not mean!
When Hurmu started all it did was demonstrate people's intolerance of those who don't speak English as a first language! If anything it was a hilarious joke enjoyed by all.

Generally if you're going to ask the Arbiter something, its best to ask him in the Judex.

Actually, I was referring to the argument over who's the nicest guy in micronationalism. Because, unlike those other guys, I've got credentials .Duke Hasan Kalir wrote:Oh that's not mean!

(Hurmu, for what it's worth, was the second most awesome to happen in the history of anything ever, after the FIoJ )

Is the original website around anywhere? The Babelfish translations were pure genius.

Re: The Death of a Kaiser
You could always join Antica. We can, technically, depose our leaders for no good reason at all, so broken promises would surely be criteria for such an expulsion. Hypothetical example: "Speaker Aryez, your haircut is entirely unfashionable. You are a disgrace. I move that the Assembly remove Speaker Aryez from power immediately due to his dorky haircut." Perfectly possible.Of course I will listen to the Kaiser after the rebellion. But I will not trust the Kaiser anymore, there promises seems to be empy.
Empy like my stomach...

I fruitlessly tried to defuse any conflict I saw back then. I still try to fruitlessly defuse any conflict I see, except now I feel I should actually be able to do it and feel bad when I can't do anything .Duke Hasan Kalir wrote:Ari, you may have been the nicest guy in micronationalism back then, but these days you're just a grump. :P

Re: The Death of a Kaiser
Perhaps I've been around long enough that I shouldn't be instigating things anymore. But if there is anything worse than a newbie instigator, its a apathetic veteran. So I'm sort of stuck somewhere in between. Thinking about it, one of the main reasons I left the hobby in the first place was that there was a serious lack of intrigue. I think it was the minute that Scott stopped most of his SHINE operations that things started to go dull. TYSOG (regardless of what people may say) was a definite highlight of the past (almost) decade. It's a crying shame the politics have become sort of stale intermicronationally. In Shireroth, atleast there is a power struggle and a theatre of interests/groups which give cause to all sorts of interesting things, but I'd say this is the last refuge of it. I know alot of people were sick and tired of the cloak and dagger stuff, but I thought it was an excellent facet to the hobby which kept people motivated and interested. Like a political soap opera. Anyways, thats my two bits.
