Duchal decree #a+4: Taxation
Imperial taxes will be paid voluntarily by private Straylightian citizens. Citizens may pledge the amount of their payments before tax day. If sufficient money can't be raised, the Duke will seek to have Straylight incorporated as a barony in another duchy.
No-one should be without a parasol, Sirocco.
