Production of a New Fleet

Post by Harvey the Blue »

Greetings, Lord Baron. For some time we at JASO have been working on new designs withouth the overt notice of the rest of the nation and we believe we have something that might interest you. As these islands seem to be in a tactical position and are often under fire from your enemies were were hesetant to give these designs to any power, even that of Yardistan proper, other then yourself. Here is an idea of what we are thinking of. We call it the Armada-class.It sure looks like a clunker, huh? This one is not nearly up to our usual artistic standards, but Jasonia is long gone and the style budget went with it. In any event, the Armada-class was designed specifically for Amity's unique problems. In addition to being accurate at a long range, as that impression shows the Armada is capable of actually gravitronic levitation. The Jasonain gravitron engine designs have been lost from our database for a long time so we had to copy the designs from the Dio. Don't expect too much maneuverability, but they should be able to take out the rogue flying island or air fortress or whatever is bombing from up there.Three main rotatable cannons, all on the same plane but staggered so that they can all fire forward without hitting eachother. Ammunition is conventional shells... all that laser stuff seems to have gone out of style. Subcannons are placed on the side of the cruiser and can be adjusted for altitude but that's about it.So what do you think? She's not too big or powerful, but even with that gravity engine she's pretty cheap to manufacture. Get enough of these things together and it could be pretty interesting.See what I mean?
