Sarein mythology focuses around horse deities.
The religious history states that in the beginning of time, four sentient horses, each representing an element, worked to create Micras:
-So-Sara, the white horse of the air
-Rabdan al-Aziz, the brown horse of the earth
-al-Azraqila, the blue horse of the water
-Nar-Jawad, the red horse of the fire
The first continent they created was Eura, and it was a veritable paradise where the four elements lived in harmony.
Then the elements began to quarrel, Eura was turned to sand by the fighting, and they each went their separate ways.
So-Sara ran to the skies where she set the clouds and winds in motion.
Rabdan al-Aziz ran into the earth, where his kicking and bucking lifted up the other continents of Micras.
al-Azraqila ran beneath the seas, where she set the waters moving, flooding the land and creating rivers.
Nar-Jawad was last to leave, and the others tried to stop him. But he kicked, and his hoof prints created volcanoes, eventually he got past So-Sara to create the Sun.
The four elements were originally mated pairs: Rabdan and So-Sara, Nar-Jawad and Azraqila.
