I wish she would just say something to me that is consitent with her actions...she says she's sorry, but she doesn't do anything to show it...she's broken her promises, lied to me, deceived me, been duplicitous...she has shattered my trust in all others...i thought i knew her...i fell in love with the girl I thought I knew...and as was I coming to accept that I was truly and completely in love with her, i was served with the facts: around people other than myself, she is a completely different person...I person that I do not know...I person that I cannot envision being the sweet and loving girl I once knew...and so I did the hardest thing I have ever done...I left her...this sounds like I am being ridiculous...but this is not the first time she has lied to me...it is not the first time she has gone against her word...the first time she has toyed with my emotions...i have been brought along a terribly difficult road by my ex...all the while trying to love her in the face of great difficulty...and i've always tried to be there for her...but when i asked her to be there for me...to call me back...to call me at all...she forgot...left me...ignored me...out of sight...out of mind...she ignored my feelings too...ingored my trying to help her cause she was "stressed"...i don't know what that means...i no longer love her...she has made me feel like my love was worthless...that she doesn't care for me...but in time, all wounds heal...and as my wounds scab and become scars, i hope to learn from this...and move on...and i hope that someday i can have in a girl what I had in her... -Gryphon Avocatio- Lord Governor and Duke of all Yardistan - Minister of Research and Education, Shireroth - Shirerothian Elder - "Minsiter of Dance, Pants and Funny Walks" - SAVE THE KIWI!! - Lover of Llamas "You're intense and driven. Poor nick.. poor us....I talked to her today.. I gave in and talked on IM.... I tried to explain our feelings.. to them.. and got these lines... what is it we need help with. (not exact wording)... they don't see any problems.... they have become a single person in their self destruction. They don't feel they need help.. to quote mine.... "I've never been happier.."... never... been happier.. than with her drugs... If we want to help... They don't really... But they do.. they make no sense... Saying we turned out backs on them.. like we should give more...Why must it be so.... I've lost 2 of the things I cared about... They are lost to me. But perhaps it is for the best. *sighs* You know, it never seems to change. This is a confusing time in our lives emotionally. I'd try to give you a bunch of advice based on my experiences, but I've learned the truth. No break up is the same, and only a pompous ass would think his experiences could teach him enough to help everyone. That being said, this is the only advice I have. Hang in there.
