Greeteth thou, ancient Naudia'Diva. We have no plans to stay in this Babkhan Puppet State, we will be exiting the land until a rightful kaiser is appointed. We are Shireroth, not Babkha, that is why we are leaving.

Why don't you give our new Kaiser a chance before you up and desert us? I believe you might just be surprised and pleased by some of the things he will be doing. He hasn't even had a chance to move into the Imperial Palace yet. Please don't go.

By the way, Hasan is now the rightful Kaiser of Shireroth. The correct response to his ascension to the throne is to bow the knee, not to say "Boo!" I did not support him for Kaiser, either, but he has been chosen, and I intend to give him my fealty. If, after two weeks you still have your same attitude, perhaps it would be better to take a nice, long, LOA, and look us up after the Kaisers change. You and I can't always see our favorites win. Think about it.

...I see your problem. You're confusing this with politics. I see how you could do that. Politics is where everyone splits into factions and is really loyal to their own faction and hates everyone from all the other factions regardless of their actions because they're the enemy.

Kaiser Hasan hasn't started governing yet, and you clearly don't know enough about his record in Babkha to hate him for that. That means you hate him because he was on the other side in an argument. It makes sense - in politics.

But this isn't politics. This is Shireroth. Let me say that again. Yvain puts on King Leonidas helm This...is...SHIREROTH!

Think Kaiser Hasan will do a bad job? Then work harder - he'll need all the help he can get. Likewise, anyone who supported Kaiser Hasan ought to be the first ones to take up pitchforks and march on the palace if he falls short of your expectations - because it's your reputations on the line. That's how people do things in Shireroth.

I do suggest you wait and see. But don't do it under the cover of "I'll give him two weeks to prove himself to me, and if he can't, I'm out." Do it because the only thing anyone from his bitterest opponents to his strongest supporters can do is watch and judge him on his merits.

And if you can't manage that, don't post threads where you whine about it. Just plain post your emigration form in MiniImNat and get out.

Jess, I was among the (if not the) strongest supporters of Jacobus for Kaiser, but even I have accepted Hasan. If he's good enough for Erik and Ari and Jacobus, he's good enough for me.

Exactly, Carol is right. And in any case, it's a Shirerithian tradition for there to be various groups of people unhappy with any Kaiser when Shireroth is active - but leaving Shireroth, it's not good. If you must, hold a coup and be crushed, stripped of your rank and position, resulting in a heavily opposed but nonetheless justified movement towards a much more centralised authority figure in Shireroth. And I don't think anyone wants that.
