Apparently, whatever was done to preserve the forum from spam didn't transfer over to the wiki pages.

Similar log-in to the last main page vandal.

It happens in MNN-wiki sometimes 6, 8 times a day.

Considering that the forum and the wiki aren't even on the same *server*, yeah, no surprise the changes didn't transfer over... and even if they did, we can pretty much just thank phpBB3's captchas, and luck, for our lack of spambots.

I'll look into antispam measures for the wiki some day, but it miiiight be slightly problematic...

I was thinking of something more like administrative activation of wiki editor accounts... it's somewhat (very) un-wiki-like, yeah, but would be consistent: If we had someone patrolling recent changes as regularly as Shirithian mods and admins (meaning pretty much every Shirithian :-P) patrol new posts and demango the forum, we wouldn't have a spam problem with the wiki... thanks to the fact that the forum is well policed, we don't need to be particular about who we allow to post.

Couldn't we make it harder for bots to register accounts on the wiki? Change a field name or something to throw them off...
