To put minds at ease

Though I suspect none but mine own is disturbed. :fish

Recently I was looking up a certain island that belongs to Yardistan (see The Forgotten Territory of Absentia) and I have reached the conclusion that the maps of Shireroth are so horribly out of date that they need someone to look after them. Like, all the time, not just one update. Our MiniInfo should be doing that because the MiniCart is now part of the MiniInfo (*facepalm*), but he isn't, so I am.

I would just do it and upload the maps but I don't want anyone to start doing it before me in case one of us finishes first and the other wastes his or her time for no good reason.

So... cool?

I think anyone who is competent and eager to take on such a projedt should be encouraged. Sounds good to me.

Aye... go for it, Benny Boy. Make your first order of business the removal of that godsforsaken partitional border in Lunaris.

Thanks for your words of encouragement. And it shall be so Krasniy. :)

Ari and anyone who cares, you may have noticed I didn't use any PNG Optimisation programs last time. Forgive me! From now on all uploads will be PNGRewrite'd, OptiPNG'd and AdvPNG'd before going up.

Do pngrewrite and advpng actually have any features which significantly help compression beyond what optipng does? I mean, I think pngrewrite does do slightly more fancy palette reduction (sorting the transparent colours first, I like that), but I can't believe that'd remove more than a couple of dozen bytes at best... besides, both pngrewrite and advpng remove ancillary chunks from the files, so you shouldn't really use them indiscriminately anyway...

I do everything indiscriminately. Hopefully by the time it causes problems (or anyone notices the already existing problems, rather) I'll be far far away *muhuhahahaha*.

And in response to your question, I have no idea.

In the remote and unlikely chance that this needs my approval, it has it.
