All those different halls and wings of the university

Post by Scott of Hyperborea »

JM3U has like five different halls and wings that no one ever posts at, and which take up a lot of space on the top of the forum. Can we just merge them all with the main forum, in the hopes that maybe it'll produce a critical mass of posts in a single forum that will get people interested?

I don't know, really. I like organisation, you know, and I doubt your theory of critical posting mass. That said, the Sorto Hall could be tossed into SSHIT, Gryphon Avocatio Hall has nothing in it, Darwin Hall could be merged into the university... I'm not so sure what to do with Escher, Tolkien and Shakespeare. Nor the Tony Au Memorial Library (other than all of that stuff should proly be wikified if it isn't already). The 400 Wing could be archived, maybe?

Because it was decreed into existance last year and no one's done anything with it. I think most of the things that should be in there are in other halls, actually.

Gentlemen,

For reasons of name and sentiment consider the Tony Au Memorial Library & Darwin Hall to be subject to a conservation order. The Ministry of the Interior can archive or dispose of the rest in line with the recommendations of the Chancellor of the University.

Not yet it would appear, but as Chancellor, and as such with a vested interest in the institution you are responsible for, I expect that you might in the end like to make some.
