I protest these rules! There have been excellent newsposts with whole paragraphs without links, and sometimes there just aren't any news that it would be appropriate to CAPS about. Even by a liberal interpretation the given format does not allow these. I demand editorial freedom within the limits of keeping the message reasonably short!

More guidelines than actual rules, like anything in Shireroth. God, you people take everything so seriously.
