Article Boxes

I was making an article for the current Kaiser (Hail! by the way) when I thought, why don't we have one of those little boxes that Wikipedia has that says something like: "This article documents the current Kaiser of Shireroth, who is mentally unstable. As such, this article may change frequently, without warning, and sometimes violently smellingo f mangoes." Or somewhere along those lines.

I noticed that ShireWiki does not seem to have any sort of template system or box system at all! (Like the ones here.

Was this a deliberate omission to make the wiki less ordered, or just a design flaw? If the latter, I strongly suggest we implement one to aid wikifiers (like myself) in making the ShireWiki the niftiess wiki of them all.

I would also appreciate others' views or suggestions on this matter.

Any ideas?

EDIT: I have, if you take a look at Agni I's page, created a template for stubs or short articles. If people like the look of this (I'm still getting the hang of it) let me know.

Shirewiki crashed and burned at least once, and and was glued and bandaged back together, mainly by those learning as they went.

Many templates were cloned from the old MNN-wiki (may it rest in peace).

As far as "architecture" goes, Ari or Erik would be the best people to talk to.

That would make it a lot easier. That's the file where most of the templates actually come from.

No, he's just being lethargic. However, I do believe he needs a deputy MiniInt. The problem is, no one else can do his job.

Other people could do my job if I ever got around to documenting how to do my job. My interest in Shireroth comes and goes, it'll return... one day... by one of the laws of micronationalism as written by some Antican guy (Foghorn, I think) it'll probably happen if I get really busy with life

I don't think http://shireroth.org/shirewiki/Template:Construction is really the sort of thing that a wiki needs. Wiki pages are eternally under construction by default - if there's anything we should mark like that, it's the exceptional cases that *aren't* under construction such as archived treaties.

In fact, after looking at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia: ... e_messages ... a lot of that is kinda metainformation-y and general, and therefore doesn't seem necessary for the rather small community that edits ShireWiki. I think if I manage to get myself to work on this I'll try to get the topical stuff Maksym asked for in http://shireroth.kuroshiro.net/forum/vi ... =10&t=9854 working first.
