(A short man in nondescript peasant garments removed what appeared to be a remote control from his left pocket. Squeezing it, he seemed pleased to hear an electronic "chirrup" from a nearby haystack. He roved a rather lages suitcase from the side of the haystack.

He squeezed the remote in another place.

Three minutes later, man, remote and suitcase bordered the helicopter that landed 50 feet away.)

The pilot radioed, "Tell the Steward that his package has been removed from Cerce."

(The helicopter was joined in flight by what at first appeared to be a mutant DC-3. Both craft avoided the capital, and landed at an Imperial facility in Alalehzamin.)
