* Baldwin walks backward (treading on one of the walls, mind you), out of his bedchamber, across his private, informal dining room, and into his parlor. It is a very cosy room; thare are a few smallish windows, far apart, which look out on the lush gardens of Baldwin's villa, and, beyond that, the outer stretches of the southermost wing of the Great Forest. The walls are painted in a deep brown-yellow, and there are two very nice Babkhan rugs on the floor. Between the rugs is a smallish table, on either side of which are two little sofas. The tea-things are already sat out. Baldwin cuts a cup (this time into fourths) and takes a sip of tea.*
