So THIS is what it feels like to be Straylightian.

You know, I think I've been Duke of three of the five Duchies now. I was the first Duke of Elwynn, right after it was founded. I was Duke of Yardistan for a really brief period during the Los III era, though I can't remember why. And I was Duke of Brookshire as Yvain. I think I should declare right now that I'm angling to become Duke of Straylight one day, and then I can move onto Kildare and go for a sweep.

And the odds that Ari is going to give up Straylight are...well...considering Ari, that's actually a toss up...

It's happened before. I left it for Shyriath once, and I think Moose was declared... wait, *checks history* ahh, Moose as the Duke of Yardistan recreated Straylight for a day once while I was gone... though I really don't recall *why* I was gone at that time... anyway, the baron (we were a barony back then) was Nick of Yardistan, I think.

Of course, now that you've said you'll leave once you've been Duke, I'm not going to abdicate any time soon
