Well, in reality, it's because it is Hypatia's mom that has it. If it was someone else, something like that can't be done like that, but since Hypatia'm moms is LoA, consider it more of a proxy.

like i said, not only is she my Duchess, shes the proxy, and it would only really concern me if he didnt want the county of KF to be in Barony Vorpmadal.... BUT!

i was commenting on my observation that our duchy is blessed with no bad blood between its inhabitants (that is if you bear no ill will towards me for that little history snaffu) nor its forefathers (and mothers) and that these sort of dealings can occur with minimal dispute.

I for one think all this granting of counties is a bit premature... as I'm pretty sure my APPLICATION STILL HASN'T BEEN APPROVED! :-p

Anyway, yes. I'd be happy to take Kitanus back if Hypatia's mom is not too attached to it. Otherwise, I'd be happy to start playing around with Northern Novi D, even if it would mean I'd have to learn its name for real ;-)
