*Thanks to the traditional Melangian diet of citrus fruits and fish, 90 year old Melangians have pretty good health. There could be some magical aspect to Melangian longevity as well, though the Melangians haven't believed in magic for eras, being a rather practical people. Andreas, correct me on this if I am mistaken.

You're quite right that they have good health in old age (Cla'Udi being the obvious example). Magic isn't big, as a general rule, but they're quite aware of it's existence - knowing history makes it obvious some stuff was magical. Cla'Udi and Mel'Kat have some basic magical ability.
The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave.
However, this account still manages:
Cla'Udi - Count of Melangia
Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy

And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).

Welcome! :)

Although this semester was very busy for me, my next semester will also be my final one and will therefore be light. I might consider taking a second citizenship.

You know you're more then welcome. But don't rush yourself, school is more important then micronations. :)

It looks like I'm going to be going on a Semi-LOA. I'm moving and busy with work and no longer have Internet access. I will try to check Shireroth when I can.

Aryeztur, do consider that for the future. Also, check your PMs.

One of these days, I'm going to get an Ari reference. And my life will feel a little fuller.

Given that I wrote that Malarbox, and I am not a Shirerithian citizen or official, resigning citizenship in a nation not connected to me because you're angry about something I did that doesn't mean what you think it means seems like an unusual step.

Well, since Shireroth sanctions your efforts by having your message at the top of its forum, it's not that far of a stretch.

Ok.

Still processing the Ari reference. Must get reference.

Now that this has been clarified...that the writer is Scott, and that he is in fact not Shirerithian...

...plus Scott doesn't answer my PMs to him so this doesn't come as a surprise I guess....

I retract my resignation of citizenship.

Also I don't think a non-Shirerithian should be setting the tone for Shireroth and t-ing off Shirerithian citizens. In fact, it almost seems like it's all a part of some elaborate plan.... (Kidding Scott!)

The reality is, occasional errors of judgement aside Scott writes the best Malarboxes and is the only person consistently bothered to do it. But if you really don't like you you in fact copy his post, and post it yourself retracting the reference to yourself, and bang, Malarbor would display it. It's not like there's anything official about access to the Malarbox anymore.

Actually, I don't remember if it was me who changed it or someone else, but right now you don't get access to post there merely for being a registered user. A bunch of people do have access through being in the Malarbaristas group, though. I gave all registered users access to post replies but not new threads for now, I'll let the authorities decide what the precise status of the forum should be.

The last PM I have on record from you is from August 16, and I responded within four minutes of it being sent.

Not to say other people wouldn't have much greater cause to complain on the same count (sorry, Jonas!)

I would happily abdicate all Malarbox responsibility to someone else, but the last message had been up there for almost three weeks and no one had posted a new one, so I figured I'd better step up lest we end up like Nelaga.

No apologies needed. I'm more then happy to see your face once in a while. :)

But I love your posts! They are treasures of the Literature. :love

That being said, I don't really get why you're so upset, Gil'les. Malarbor mocks with everyone. :D :mal

This is a headache. Scott deserves more blame here. And Scott, no, you still have not answered my PM to you about an important matter from over a month ago. That's ok. I'm sure you're very busy. :rolleyes

I see that after my retraction, access to this hidden forum has been removed. You guys must be really touchy about that hidden forum. IMO, personally, there was not much of interest in there, other than some discussions on the Nelaga merger idea that were maybe a little interesting. But it's the principle of it, see. If my access to the hidden forum is not restored, consider my citizenship retraction retracted. Then I'll just keep posting in Shireroth as a non-citizen, happily, and not as a second class citizen deprived of access to a hidden forum.

I'm thinking you're taking an honest mistake as a personal insult. Besides, we all know there's nothing interesting in there, that's why it's open to all citizens (or should be, I'll look into it later)

It was? Because as far as I can tell you have access there now, and I don't see anything in the admin log relating to your permissions being taken away at any point...

I took you our of the Kildare group, since you weren't a cit. Which was how you had access. You are back in that group, and thus have access again. Calm yourself.
