Excellent. Welcome to Shireroth!

Citizenship approved! :thumbsup

(Please don't forget to fill in the census form).

As per Chapter IX of the Lawbook Corey van der Sluijs ("Santelran Rottsaa"), being in violation of the "Tri-Cit" rule, has fourteen days in which to reduce his foreign citizenship holdings to two or else resign his Shirerithian citizenship. We would recommend abandoning the Toketoshalsk Empire (who, what and where incidentally?) and Natopia.

Should Santelran Rottsaa fail to comply his citizenship is to be revoked and the Minister for Immigration and Naturalisation is to oversee the process of expulsion.

First, I technically only have to drop one. Hurmu does not have a nationality law.

Second,
Kaiser Aurangzeb wrote:Toketoshalsk Empire (who, what and where incidentally?)
It resides in the Laranel region of Gralan Toketi, which is currently in rebellion of the Imperial Government and has been recognized as a foreign state by the Lord General of Gralus. It is currently undocumented with the MCS due to pending war and the contested state of the territory.

Third, I haven't plans to drop either of these. The first is a re-envisioning of the original Toketi (which I founded and wish to return to its former glory), and the second is populated by far cooler people than Shireroth. :p

I'm sorry, but the Ministry recognises it as a separated nation, as it is member of the Small Commonwealth.

I don't contest that it is a separate nation, but it has never been such that one is a "citizen" of Hurmu, merely a resident. We do not have a citizenship application. Any person, without exception, can come to Hurmu and be part of the community.

If Hurmudan is a "citizenship", then the entire reign of Kaiser Ayreon was illegal under the Imperial Charter.

If we believe Santelran about Hurmu, and refuse to recognize Toketowhatever because it's in illegal rebellion against Gralus, then the problem solves itself.

I think he wants it to be a problem though. If Hurmu residency doesn't equate with citizenship he should have omitted it from the census.

Unfortunately, Toketoshal is recognized by the Gralan Triumvir in charge of foreign affairs. The only person actively opposing the rebellion is the Emperor. Everyone else is on board or apathetic.

Meh, I don't even recognise Kosovo yet, so it will take a while before I recognise Toketoshal. And if the Emperor is still opposing the rebellion, you will have to wait for my recognition (this is however a matter for foreign affairs, but till they give me their opinion, I don't have recognise it :p ).

Flattery will get you everywhere, saves on bullets too. Does make for bored firing squads though, still perhaps Corey will volunteer.

Fine - he is only to be hung drawn and quartered if Toketoshal appears on the MCS map. I can live with that.

What is the current status of your citizenships, Mr. Rottsa?

You have until 3806 ASC to come into compliance with the Lawbook of Shireroth.

3806 ASC, Mr. Rottsaa. After this date, you will forfeit your Shirerothian citizenship.

Or we'll forget it about it by then...but probably you'll be sold into slavery to the Yardistanis.

Lord Minister,

I am sure that one of those citizenships can be discounted on basis that Hurmu has been integrated with Shireroth.
