It's probably a good idea to wait and find one you like. If it helps though, this is my basic intro I wrote up for Fides:
Straylight's the random sci-fi/transhumanist one, Yardistan's the random one where rebellion is legal and everybody annexes stuff, Kildare's the coolest, most historical and magical one, Elwynn's fairly serious and got some good storytelling going, and Brookshire's the oldest, and has some really cool organisations ...
