Getting rid of Delphi

Post by Scott of Hyperborea »

Okay, we need to get rid of Delphi somehow. I think the first step would be to get him removed as Duke of Antica. The best way to do this is to claim that his absence means he's left Shireroth and use article 3B to replace him with Baldwin as Count of Aquilaria, which would give Baldwin some control over Antica. We can mention that Delphi has the right to come back and object, but if he does then we can talk to him and hopefully conclude something. After Baldwin becomes Duke of Antica, we can work from there, hopefully getting his approval to get rid of it as a Duchy somehow.

Problem: Baldwin's disassociated himself with the Duchy of Antica.

Solution: Forget Delphi's feelings and void the Treaty of Aquilaria on the grounds that he is no longer a Shirithian Citizen as he missed this last census. Hand the territory to the Republic of Antica, thereby reducing our total land mass and making the Republicans very happy. Tell Delphi to go to hell when he decides to make a ruckus.
