Christmas honors
I think Christmas would be an excellent time to give out some awards. My suggestions are:Dragon: To Greg Dean. Need I explain?Griffin: To Scott Noseworthy, for feeding us the Nafticon info. Of course, we can't actually SAY that, so you can say in public it's for his work on RIMA (which is excellent) and I can inform him in private of the real reason.Phoenix: John Sager. Can you believe he's back and doing good work after threeish years?Chimaera: Oh, I dunno. Unless you can think of someone better, we never did honor Foghorn's parents for their help in convention.

Agreed whole-heartedly. There are no flowers, no not this time. There will be no angels gracing the lines, just these stark words I find.
Re: Christmas honors
Ditto. Especially with Foghorn's parents getting the Chimaera, since I still feel bad for imposing on them that way (however badly we needed to impose).

Also, I think Ryan should be made an honorary citizen. He's Grand Duchy of our Protectorate of Lac Glacei, he says he's designing a passport for us, and he's just cool. Especially for a Babkhan.

Requesting declassification per Declassification act of 3742.
No-one should be without a parasol, Sirocco.
