...why does Atterra want New Brannum so much? The contract floating around specifically gives that piece of land to Atterra...meanwhile, before negotiations began, Steven practically begged me for that piece of real estate.

Makes no particular sense to me. Some odd manifestation of national pride, maybe? Getting themselves a "place in the sun"? But then, do Atterans even care about such things? I mean, even Diga seemed to be more about the cultural legacy than the MCS land when he was trying to get Lorelei...It's odd. Very very odd.
