Lawbook: III. A.

Shall be changed from:
A: Requirements

1. Citizenship
a. A Noble of Shireroth must be a citizen of Shireroth.
b. A Noble of Shireroth shall not be a minor as defined by the Ministry of Immigration and Naturalization.
To
A: Requirements and Definitions

1. Citizenship Requirements
a. A Noble of Shireroth must be a citizen of Shireroth.
b. A Noble of Shireroth shall not be a minor as defined by the Ministry of Immigration and Naturalization.

2. Definition
a. The Kaiser, as outlined in the Imperial Charter, is the Supreme Noble of Shireroth and is thus considered a Noble.
b. A Duke is a Noble, below the rank of Kaiser.
c. A Lesser-Noble, without regard for particular title, is a Noble below the rank of Duke..
d. Those without the rank of Lesser-Noble, or higher, are not considered Nobles..
To help clear things up.

Remove "for purposes of Imperial Law and the Landsraad". Superfluous.

It sounds fancy, but doesn't really say much, and opens the field for misinterpretations.

"Oh, wait, does this mean that a duke is not a Noble in his subdivision?"

Um... what exactly does this change?

Because there would be no more ambiguity surrounding what exactly a "noble" constitutes. Right now Lesser-Nobles are not clearly "nobles" but rather their own classification. This would make it 100% clear.

I would not give high probability to any amendments under this Kaisership. Charter Amendment happen rarely. We haven't had one in a year. You'd need the Kaiser, Praetor and Arbiter all in agreement about the amendment too.

And I personally don't think a full on amendment is needed.

But yes, this bill is simply to try to clear things up.
