Vanchauslurk Honors Resolution of 3755
Vanchauslurk Honors Resolution 3755
WHEREAS there are citizens of this nation that deserve to be awarded for their service, and
WHEREAS the Kaiser has not yet done so,
BE IT RESOLVED that the following Honors be recommended to His Niftiness the Kaiser:
That Ari Rahikkala be inducted into the Order of the Dragon for his exceptional service to Shireroth for, like, forever;
That Greg Russell be awarded the Golden Swan for his work on MASS;
That Cho'Gall be awarded the Silver Swan for his stories;
That Allot and Leo Dine be awarded the Bronze Swan for their activity.
FURTHERMORE, the Landsraad wishes to make His Niftiness the Kaiser aware of the following:
That the Honors List is in need of updating, and
That it is the view of the Landsraad that the Golden Sword award and the Golden Nixon medal once again should be made separate, and not an order.

What do you mean with 'recommend'? In fact, this is meant to 'force' the Kaiser to award them. While I don't find this a task of the Landsraad.
Kildare votes Nay, but not because that I disagree with the nominated persons or separation of the Sword and Nixon-thingy. Like I explained: I don't find it necessary to make the Kaiser aware of something. You could easily ask him to solve the matter without a resolution.

From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

Yes, but this shows the Kaiser that it's more then just a few people. It's the Landsraad who wants these things. One or two people, even duke asking the Kaiser... MIGHT get his attention. A full resolution passed through the Landsraad has some clout to it. It would also mean a lot more if it passed unanimously. Thus you support would go a long way to helping us in this matter.

Vetoed. Greg has already been rewarded, the rest of you have been bountified to the extent that any additional honour is simply a bonus. Those individuals feel that their record on Roll of Honour is out of date or erroneous will need to bring it to my attention if they expect anything to be done about it.
I shall perhaps be generous and consider these gentlemen named above as being nominated for the aforementioned awards, something which is certainly worth some consideration, but for the reasons Erik outlined this resolution itself gets an Imperial Smackdown.

Excessive use of force anyone....
and what about
and what about
That it is the view of the Landsraad that the Golden Sword award and the Golden Nixon medal once again should be made separate, and not an order.
Re: Vanchauslurk Honors Resolution of 3755
This isn't meant bad, but why does Brookshire still have two representatives speaking at the same time (I mean in the same topic)?

I know I got the vote(Emissary). I'm not sure why the Duke is here.
