Taxes on Hurmu.

I'm kinda lazy so I'm just gonna ask. Would Hurmu be subject to Imperial Taxes? Does the treaty say anything about it?

If the Duchies all got taxes would/could Hurmu be taxed?

Hurmu would not automatically be taxed, since the law states that each Duke is taxed, and Hurmu doesn't have a Duke. They could be included in the taxation by imperial command though, since the Kaiser is the highest authority in Hurmu. Preferably, the Hurmuans should be consulted first.

There are plenty of things to "jab" at. This was a "wry comment."

I do not suppose for a minute that Hurmu died to dodge taxes.

I guess I'll have to make two new sigs. with a disclaimers on them.
