Abdicating as Elder

Wil Nider, Count of Volsaarn, seems to have far more ideas for Hyperborea's growth and future than I do. Therefore, I abdicate my position as Elder (but not my position as Duke of Hyperborea) in the hopes that the Council will elect him in my place.[this is legal. The way I understand it is that I will continue to rule Hyperborea from the standpoint of the Shirerithian government, and thus have the power to vote in the Landsraad, deal with Barons, et cetera, but Eoin will rule from the standpoint of Hyperborea and have control over local and cultural issues, the leadership of the Council, et cetera]
