way to many stickies..

When I have to scroll down half the page, you have to many sticky threads, kinda defeats their point.

You made Aryeztur a Duke. This kind of stuff is part of his micronational experience. Except over in Antica we get three subboards full of stickies and one-post threads.

No we are. Otherwise you would have been censored. I just request you tone it down and be constructive. We here in Goldshire believe in protocol and etiquette. One must show decorum and gently remonstrate and not use vulgarities. We are a civilized and diplomatic people. Also, it is unseemly for one to use sharp words.

Aryeztur is the Governor of Aryez province in Antica where there are many sticky threads and many one-post threads. So to me, as an Antican, all this is expected. The only thing that surprises me is that Khorze was not renamed Aryez or New Aryez already. Unless Aryeztur is saving that for Goldshire :smashy

Goldshire is Goldshire and Aryez and Aryez (and Khorze is Khorze) I should have made that clear at the first. Like all cultures, they may interact and influence each other but I consider it of utmost importance that each of those entities retains its distinct and separate heritage.

Ok. I guess then Goldshirithian culture remains continuous throughout history, though there may have been some Aryezi influence during the current time period, or at least some influence resembling Aryez?

Many of the current inhabitants of Khorze moved over from Aryez bringing their faith and culture when the Mejorkhor dynasty began to rule that place. Their influence can be felt here and there in Goldshire. However Goldshire itself has a very strong and old culture and its inhabitants are very proud of it. The culture is open and tends to incorporate new cultures while preserving its basic essence so Goldshirerithian culture has numerous substratums, include the Khorze-Aryezean one.

The Code states:
Its culture is a blend of Celtic, Arthurian, Oriental, and native Shirerithian elements.
Aryez, by way of Khorze is the origin of much of the "Oriental" aspects, which includes Middle-Eastern, Indian, and East Asian based culture. Aryez also has a large Celtic/Arthurian component to it as it has been influenced by fantasy literature and medieval symbols, but the main base of native Goldshirerithian culture is Celtic and Arthurian.

Ok. Likewise, Melangian culture has influenced Aryez, particularly Aryez's Akhilec region, so it's not just a one-way cultural exchange with Shireroth, either, but rather a bilateral cultural exchange, albeit one involving two different regions of Shireroth.

I cannot speak on behalf of Andreas the Wise, but I feel as if, based on his descriptions of them, the Melangians have some middle eastern, perhaps Semitic, qualities.

By the way, any of your unique contributes to Goldshire would be most welcome. As you showed in Aryez, you have talent in writing stories. Perhaps you can pen one for Goldshire as well.
