Wake up, Your Graces!

Post by Kaiser Loki III »

I've posted two Treaties that need acting upon.

I believe that part of the inactivity of the Landsraad is due to the unnecessary complexity and inherint unfairness of the current
"money is votes" system. I am a firm believer in evenhandedness among the Duchies.

I urge the ratification of the treaties, and the return to one duke, one vote.

I agree. I'm not sure if we could get majority for that in the Landsraad with the current voting rules, but it's worth a shot. I just need access to the Landsraad... OH AAAAARIIII!!

I agree, Your Niftiness! I'm pretty sure my inactivity is due the complexity and unfairness! Kildare needs more influence! :document

I, personally, have always supported the old ways and will not complain with changing back to it. My Baron on the otherhand... :evil
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

Your Niftiness, I would delighted to be able to cast a vote or several in the Landsraad, but unfortunately I cannot. It is indeed a sad day in Shireroth when a whole Duchy is disenfranchised because the wheels of bureaucracy turn not at all, let alone slowly. :cry

I'm almost considering asking for emergency Admin powers so I can take care of this...

Um, Jonas, Kildare has the most influence, or at least we did last time I checked ....

The "money is votes" system isn't unfair. Well, rather, it's exactly as fair as the system the community uses for divvying the money up. Right now the system is "Andreas takes care of that", which... well, *I* am happy with it so far, but it's pretty obvious to everyone (most of all to Andreas himself who's asked for it to be changed several times) that it's going to be really hard to maintain fairness in the long term.

That being said, a lot of the system of dividing thus far is "cultural additions to Shireroth" which I think is a great way to divide political power ...
