The way this vote was presented was that the Landsraad would be given a chance to resolve the flag question by testing Shyraith's improved variant of the old against Scott's flag which is currently in force. Your questionable logic and comprehension aside, the matter was put to the Landsraad to decide - it was not decided here.

That was nice. I question the basis of the exercise, I question Erik's actions, I question about how this issue keeps coming back until we reach the 'right' answer. But I'll be polite about it all.

For me, regardless of whether two people or all but one have voted, if you haven't had everyone on a thing that can take as many people as express their opinion on, you should leave it at least five days before concluding it. That you did it in ~3 (as well as declared it passed at least once or twice while people kept voting afterwards) made it feel rushed to me.

THIS never mattered in a major legal sense. This was just a resolution to force the Landsraad to vote on a particular Bill. This step was totally optional in the process. You could have proposed the Landsraad bill at any point, even if this had failed.

And the detractors may wish to note that, as time went on, the votes in FAVOR continued to pile up faster than those opposed.

That's why I moved on to making an actual vote in the Landsraad. Had this been an Actual vote, with some actual time limits for me to work with, I would have waited. As I saw it a large majority wanted it moved to a vote in the Landsraad. So I did so.

If this was just a vote for a vote, then that's fine. If this is meant to be indicative of the will of the majority to change the flag, then that's not fine. But it doesn't matter now as I've made my own arrangements.

Officially, it's a vote for a vote, thus I treated it as such. I'm also not stopping people from continuing to cast votes so we know where they stand. CJ cast after the fact. I just don't see 5 votes coming up from nowhere to reverse the results.
