More nobility Clarity
Right now a Duke is called a 'Noble' which is a form of 'Noble'. The Kaiser is a Supreme Noble and Barons(etc) are Lesser-Nobles.
I think we should replace all references to Dukes with 'Full-Noble' as we did with Barons being replaced with Lesser-Noble.
Basically, I think we should make more clear that Noble is an overarching term, referring to 3 ranks of Nobility. Supreme-Noble, Full-Noble and Lesser-Noble.
Once the current round of bills get tucked away, I'll put forward some precise language. But figured I'd bring it up for conversation.

That is how I would have envisioned it, too. But I don't like the names. Let's see if we can work up some other names?

It is possible names could be redone soon. But this is just to help us in that direction. We need to make the layers clear.

Or we make it all rigid and call them all nobles, the full ones dukes/duchesses, the lesser one barons/baronesses, just like tradition had it

But the three-tier system is good. We ought to keep that.

Re: More nobility Clarity
We alway had a 3 tier system. I just want to set it up in more generic terms. I would be pleased to see more titles created on the level of Full-Noble. But perhaps with more complex variety.
Dukes have land and votes, which can both be inherited. Thus we have 3 variables that, at this level of rank, we keep grouped. We could, if it pleased us, create more complicated combination.

Instead of dukes/barons/counts, maybe have viceroys/dukes/earls or dukes/marquis/earls.

That's just juggling titles. I desire more then just juggling names, yet leaving the entire structure the same.

Re: More nobility Clarity
Kaiser = Kaiser, surely? No need to invent a new term for what is already a category of one.
Dukes = Nobles Patrician (The noble who sits at the apex of local government)
Barons = Nobles Equestrian (An equestrian class, well in the past they would have needed a horse to travel round their accumulated counties...)
Counts/Earls/Sanctmasters/Brothelkeepers = Nobles Civitas (The bottom of the pile, administering and interfacing with the actual simulated locations, the lowest engine for the generating of cultural works, however dull and insipid - Kanto - those might actually be.)
Render those suggestions into your Shirerithian conlang which is languishing out there somewhere and you are done.
