But, do you know what's really wierd? This is the day Mary I. ousted Jane Grey from the throne of England (I only realized this a few minutes ago, whilst I was reading the main page of Wikipedia)...this is an unplanned coincidence, though, and I sincerely hope my reign doesn't turn out to be like Mary's...

Since we do not have a Praetor, according to the Charter, the Landsraad must elect one immediately. Also, since their is no Praetor, I, as Kaiser, must serve. I, therefore, grant myself permission to edit the Charter. As for why--trust me, you'll like it.

Just because the Kaiser was on a leave of absence, it is not permissible to grab the throne. The Kaiser will leave when he is good and ready, and not until.
