DECREE THIRTEEN (3436):

WHEREAS, Jacobus Loki has not being active,

WHEREAS, I Need a second in command,

WHEREAS, I need a new one.

WHEREAS, There is only one quasi-active citizen in BUI save me.

Therefore,

Nick the Yardistani is second in command, if he so wishes.

and I declare that Mirioth, Amity, and So-Sara are now independent from Yardistan Proper, and will now form our own Duchy. REBELLION IS IN THE AIR!!!!

As a Yardistani I support the rebellion provided the new Duchy of MASS is a subdivision of Shireroth, a subdivision of Yardistan.

But as a YARDISTANI I say prepare to die a slow and painful death! :whip

Only the Kaiser or the Landsraad can create new duchies, not that anyone seems to care.

With the measure having failed in the Landsraad the fate of MASS rests with the Kaiser. If he does not agree to this, and if MASS then doesn't back down, they can consider themselves at war with Brookshire.

I've petitioned the Kaiser for help with putting down this revolt, which we are entitled to according to the Lawbook.

Perhaps. Being the lawyer type, I dislike any rebellion not started by me. I hardly see what warrants MASS being turned into a duchy, with one citizen jumping in and out.

No, i am not mad that I didn't get your second in command position... I am mad that the world isn't under my rule. That Shireroth doesn't know what greatness is. That yardistan has become the province of legalistic, tame noblemen without ambition or true heart! That instead of throwing rebellions, we throw parties with our slavemasters! Instead of throwing off the shackles of fuedalism, we embrace the heirarchy like good little peasants.

Greg is right. Even Kildare is rioting more these days then Yardistan.
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki
