The Cognitio Expedition

Post by Aurangzeb Khan »

My Lord,

I have engaged in a casual interogation and obtained a representation of how a restored Cognito would fit in the context of the area.

The greater part of Cognito has remained outside the realm of civilised nations since the Imperial Republic was forced to evacuate it. However the borders do overlap in some areas, notably in the north eastern quarter - towards Ergo Sum.

If we wish to redeem to the entirety of Cognito it must therefore be taken into consideration that, from the view point of international relations, it will therefore be necessary to:

1. To agree a minor border adjustment with the Confederacy of Gralus.
2. Crush and occupy Vlaanderen (New Britannian Protectorate).

Now, I don't speak for all of Gralus, but personally looks fine to me... the border barely changes...

But you'll probably have some trouble getting NB to give up their land...

I appreciated your hilarious joke, Ardashir. :P

This looks good - and will provide a nice area to position troops in case those grabby Anticans' eyes wander to over Melangia any time soon. :tomcutterhamonfire

Actually, Liam was planning to claim a narrow strip of the coast along the river for CoG in our latest claim which was due up a month ago and should appear any day now ...
But apart from that we'd be more than happy to assist. :angel
If you do take out Vanderveer (not Vlaanderen to my knowledge), I'm sure we could arrange the northern border change to suit you ...

Define 'Many'
In Troll counting that's four ...

Define "sovereign nation"....................... :evil

:demon No, no, we will be landing on the (unoccupied) west coast of Cognito, and marching inland, in the general direction of Ergo Sum, or the southern shore of Lac Glacei Lake as circumstances allow.

Think of the People Power march of the King of Morocco when the Spanish finally left Morocco's ancient southern provinces in 1970-something-er-other.

The Senate of the FRC is in the process of yielding the territory as we speak. We will occupy, and let our most skilled diplomats negotiate the boundaries.

Of course, if we are attacked................

(Land ho......)

I'll just start in Hamuji, move a bunch of LONGBOW artillery missile platforms to the border, and they'll have no escape... :demon

Should I do that? I can also bring some Chelkran Elite guard and Chelkran Battle Suits... I think I'll leave the Heavy Battle Suit out of this one though... giant robots don't work internationally.

Shall we call the Lac Glacei Liberation League out of mothballs and put them back into action? That is a prepared 5th column just waiting for the call, the bells of their ice cream trucks unheard for far too long. :thumbsup

(Standing on the South Shore of the Lac Glacei--)

I dedicate this Ice Cream Parlor and garage central location to the people of Lac Glacei and Cognito, and to the Spirit of Conglacio.

Let all flavours be expressed throught the land! Let friend and adversary partake of Radish and Vanilla, Chocolate and Vermouth, and the Flavours of all Nations ice creams!

Mango Ice Cream, the Kaiser, and LG&C Forever!

(Maksym, can we build a Temple or a Mission to B'Caw next door, so that Spicy Chicken may complement the Ice Cream, and Vice Versa? Maybe a Matba'an restaurant across the street?)

To All and Sundry:

The medium-arms fire you hear is not an attack on you - rather it is the preparation of Fired Fish, a Yardistani delicacy served with Mango Sauce.

The First Fired Fish from the Lake of Lac Glacei!
