1. In the absence of anyone better, I, Yvain Wintersong of Syrelwynn, hereby assume the title of Duke of Brookshire.
2. As I will be away for at least one more month, I hereby appoint Count Erik Mortis Brookshire of Monty Crisco as my Regent and my emissary in the Landsraad. If he does not want this job, I authorize him to pass it onto whomever he thinks most qualified.
