Batavian retirement

Post by Jonas »

I just want to say that I have decided to retire in the Kingdom of Batavia. This means that I will spend more time to Shireroth, and especially my own Barony.

My decision is made, mostly because I think the Dutch sector is far to bureaucratic and boring for me. They never want to have absolut monarchies (even constitutional monarchies are a problem) or powerful nobles. :no
That becomes very, very boring and annoying.
I'm still minister of Culture and Education and I will do my job until the next elections (I can't just leave them :no ). But after that I will retire and move to Antya (I live here already but it wasn't my 'home' if you get what I say).

I just wanted to announce this.

Long live the powerful and mighty Shireroth!
That it stays our Home Land forever!
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

Joy. Prolly means the end of activity in Batavia. And thus my retirement. Or another unannounced leave. But I understand.

So what about World of Batavia? Will you finish it?

That will learn them not fully supporting my cultural work. :evil

First I will end the Kildarian game, for this one I get atleast (a lot) help from others. Later I maybe will finish World of Batavia, but for now I will not (or I finish the part I was working on and releash it).

That I will retire in Batavia doesn't mean I will stop posting on the forums, I still will help developing their history and culture.
I'm just tired of those republicans and people who annoys me with their ideas as 'democracy is needed to protect the people!'. I want to throw dynamite to them :demon

So, you're really a B000/\/\ist at heart? Good for you! :tomcutterhamonfire

You know, of course, that this would make you eligible to everntually become Kaiser, should you be appointed successor to a reigning Kaiser. Welcome to Shireroth full time, Your Grace!

Thank you, My Lady! :)

I know this would make it possible for me to become eventually the successor of our Kaiser. But I'm happy enough with my job as Praetor, and as servant of the Kaiser with the small chance of once becoming Kaiser myself.
However, if there are others who want the title I will not be in their way, I'm happy with what I have now. So it's no problem if I don't become Kaiser. ;)

And I am even more happy if our current Kaiser reigns long and prosperous! :)

First, I will develop my Barony and the game.

And yet more people leave their home nations for Shireroth! Hurrah!

Don't worry, Batavia will continue on without you. Toketi has done alright without me being a full time member.

For Batavie, I am very sad. I expect they will lose a great deal of interesting interaction with the English sector this way.

For Kildare, I say, "Right on man! All the way to Kaiser, baby! :party "
The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave.
However, this account still manages:
Cla'Udi - Count of Melangia
Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy

And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).
