Re: Public Notice: Basil's Heir Apparent
I may not know full Shirerithian law... but wouldnt there then only be one county and there no longer be a barony or county of that name... so you have nothing left to give ownership of? ejen ranti taicardainre (Lachlan Powers)The Grand Commonwealth - Aerlig - MNN - Treesia - mncentre - EIFA - Lemuria
Public Notice: Basil's Heir Apparent
Public NoticeI have designated Ozarka Monta heir apparent to the County of Byzantia and to my stake in the Barony of Port Illumination Byzantia.Barring his refusal to serve as my heir, all my possessions in Shireroth shall be given to him after I leave Shireroth, which I intend to do soon.It has been a pleasure to participate, but I feel my micronational efforts could be best exercised elsewhere at this time.Cheers,Max Basil Shirerothian PatriotPrince of Byzantia"I've got an idea.Let's get a gigantic prism...and send it into space. What
What I believe dear Vaxroixe means is:That, as it is with the Imperial line (In which a number of people serve countless times, all under new names and personalities) that each of us will in turn take upon ourselves new names as our terms end, and the ruling perseon at the time shall name the other zir heir under the name they have chosen to use next, and that it will continue in a chain - not to hav ehim leave and me gain his territory, though I would certainly make a bid for it as it owuld by then be culturally tied to moi.

Re: What
Yeah. A person may only control one county. As well, a barony requires at least two counties. So the barony is defunct, heir or not. Re: What
Bill,I am well aware of the rules of this nation, as I do try to abide by them at every possible interval, not bend them and others wills to fit my needs. I am also well aware that I am still banned in Antya for 'insults' which really just means I stood up to you and nailed you therefore making you look stupid therefore making you mad.In conclusion,Until you can grow up and release the ban on me, I would kindly ask that you not interfere with my matters that do not in the least concern Antya.Otherwise,I cannot wait until Ardy and Ric both have over-lapping Leave of Absences so that I can ban you from this entire Duchy. (Though rest assured that is the worst I will do while in power, as I actually respect my superiors)Most insincere regards,Oz

Re: What
I'm sorry for not posting in the past several days, but I've been busy with school, work, even forced Christmas shopping. In response to comments about what things could be changed to make me stay, I must first say that I would hate for anything to be changed just to make one person stay. There are a couple of changes, in my opinion, that could be made in Shireroth that would please almost everyone. First, the forum colors should be changed to be more readable. I might go further to suggest that the forums be moved over to phpBB, as Delphi Augustus has suggested. Second, fiefdoms should be given an amount of power that is more appopriate, in consideration of the important role they play in Shirerithian affairs. Duchies deserve to have power rivaling the Kaiser. At least for European history, this would be a more correct arrangement. Dukes and Duchesses could organize their own cabinets and could ennoble anyone they choose to any rank below Duke. The lower fiefdoms would stand to see an increase in their individual power as well.I would seriously consider returning to Shireroth if those two things happen. I think they would benefit everyone.I doubt any changes will occur because Shireroth is quite conservative (hesitant to change). Conservative is appealing to some micronationalists, but not as much to me.I rather like the feudal system in Shireroth; no other micro-nation has it just like Shireroth. There is great potential in it. It almost approaches the idea of an ideal micronational society, in which the concepts of democracy or a very strong monarchy, which don't really work in micro-nations, become unnecessary but the fun and glory of holding an enclave of power is still present. Now that my time of business has lessened I will probably be tuning into the micronational world more during the next several weeks ("this Holiday Season").Have a Merry Christmas. Quote: Bill,I am well aware of the rules of this nation, as I do try to abide by them at every possible interval, not bend them andothers wills to fit my needs.Whoa whoa whoa. Oz, are you sure you're not overreacting just a little bit? Bill didn't even give his two cents in the matter with that last comment: all he did was state factual information. He didn't specify you or insinuate that you, in any way, were ingnorant of the rules. Or that you do not follow them. He's not a stalker out to get you, no matter how annoying you find him. Sometimes, he might be saying things that have nothing to do with you!Quote:I am also well aware that I am still banned in Antya for 'insults' which really just means I stood up to you and nailed you therefore making you look stupid therefore making you mad.You realize you're essentially saying "You're just mad cuz' I said you were stupid."? And isn't being made to look stupid an insulting gesture? For that matter, isn't "nailing"? Believe it or not, sometimes, people don't care whether insults are true or not!Realize that I'm not trying to antagonize you, Oz. Nor am I coming to the aid of my Baron. I'm coming to the aid of a Shirerithian. If someone just pokes their head in a gets threatened, what does that say about the stabability of this nation? You can ban him once you get the chance to, I can't argue that. But I hope you'll look the the consequences of doing so prematurely. --- The first step is admitting I have a problem.
