Decree LV - Elwynnbrigaden

By the will of His Grace the Duke of Elwynn, let the following Decree be implemented forthwith:

1. The Elwynnbrigaden shall be reinstated as the official army of Elwynn.
2. The Elwynnbrigaden shall be primarily concerned with protecting and upholding the rights and safeties of the citizens of Elwynn.
3. Each Barony and each County shall have a division of the Elwynnbrigaden to protect said Barony/County, based on said County/Barony's size and population.
i) the Brigadier General and/or the Duke or Elwynn shall divide the Elwynnbrigaden appropriately.

4. The Chain of Command of the Elwynnbrigaden shall be as follows:
a) The Duke of Elwynn
b) The Brigadier General
c) The Steward of Elwynn
d) The Council of Eliria

5. Under said Chain of Command, each Baron shall have control over all Elwynnbrigaden forces in his Barony. Each Count shall have control over all Elwynnbrigaden forces in his county.

6. The Khan of Vijayanagara is hereby appointed Brigadier General of the Elwynnbrigaden.

You might want to add a clause about need instead of simply dividing by population. I may be needing reinforcements if the war in northern Wintergleam escalates to the scale of the whole county.

At the Duke's discretion I believe that the Brigadier-General would be permitted to authorise the dispatch of reinforcements from other counties were a situation to deteriorate locally.

Both of you are correct. Both matters will be covered in the internal regulations governing the Elwynnbrigaden. This was just a general decree to re-establish it.

Before I launch into this I intend to be using the Anunia rather than SCIRA ruleset as this has the greater intermicronational recognition and "traction" - does your Grace have any objection? If we find ourselves in any SCIRA war we can just purchase those parts of the orbat we intend to use.

Well I only noticed today that the forum had been kindly established but already I get the depressing feeling that if its to be done well I will need to be thorough and methodical in my approach, and that takes preparation and preparation takes time; and at the moment I am probably lavishing too much thought on a hypothetical scenario around which to bolt the lessons. In any event I shan't start hawking for students until I've at least managed to convince myself that I am passably ready.
