By my fishy hand,

A bit of fishday poetry
(I wrote this poem some 4 years ago or so)

You have at your command
The wisdom of ages
Recall the triangle
The eye of the apple tree

Half a league! Half a league!
A shoe in the forest of happiness
Where the gorons frolic
And the ordonians prosper

Can you not see the sorrow?
Can you not feel your pangs of hunger?
An afro, a mohawk, a siege engine
The Britons aren't coming! You're next! You're next!

Black, white, green, macaroni and cheese
A unibrow breaks the mold
Chalk on a dry erase board writes no words
From a mountain grows the sun.

Fishday falls on a different day each year. This year it's every other monday. Last year was every other sunday...or maybe that was the year before...I forget...

Last year it was on Saturdays, thus the poorly planned Nelagan law celebrating the first Fishday of December on the first or second saturday of the month. A situation that your Nifityness corrected quite nicely.

... hey, wow, that's coming up pretty soon! I wonder what we should plan for the event.
