Come to think of it, a basketball may be too sharp for him.

Send a spaceship. A single spaceship.
"But Mr Miller", I hear you asking, "how can a single spaceship rectify a whole province of a rouge state?"
Well, numbnuts, don't send just any spaceship, send a Safirian dreadnought.
And make sure it has the Amane Weapon mounted thereupon. Use at your own risk, however, as you may end up glassing parts of Shireroth (including Shirekeep), Stormark, and Ashkenatza in the process. The best advice I can legally provide is that you make sure the operators know what they're doing.

Captain's log, Stardate 92010.6-
Chief Engineer Welshy recording.
The Captain and the First Officer are locked in a wrestling match on the bridge. The Captain keeps shouting, "Just one little town, I want to phaser ONE LITTLE TOWN off of a planet!", while the First Officer is yelling, "The Prime Directive! Destroying a city might be considered inteference!"
I'm going to have to stun them both.

Did somebody ask me to built a superweapon? I've only built, like, two, so I could use the experience...

We certainly want to punish that one criminal, but we don't want an entire city of civilians turned to Pyrex statues.

Since this is Shireroth, someone here should be able to conjure up a weapon. No, I mean literally conjure.
EDIT: Well it seems apparent from this screenshot that Elwynn has gone independent from Antica. Good for them, and bad for Antica.

Well, we want to support Elwynn, rather than just step in and try to annex it like arseholes. They are welcome to rejoin us, and they just might, but at the moment we draw the line at offering them boardspace.

I'm a bit sad that it had to come this far, but we can't always close our eyes.
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

But seriously, have any specs/graphics? For a time Natopia tried to get an organization of space-faring nations to set some standards, etc. I'd be interested in seeing your fleet.
I'm sorry, but who exactly are you threatening to mindrape? Elwynn?CJ Miller wrote:

The Elwynnese have renamed Ardashirshahr. Perhaps we should redraw the map in the draft treaty to reflect this?

Re: Statement from Elwynn
YES.Consider him unwelcome in Shireroth.
Also, something to keep in mind: Ardy went LOA and resigned as Grand Vizier in Babkha (and emigrated entirely from Ashkenatza) on the same day as he did the deletion. That seems to me to be an unspoken way of disassociating both micronations from what he did, and indeed I seriously doubt that it was anything other than a single-handed action.
Nevertheless, because he had been their GV up to that point, and because he is still a citizen there, I think we ought to ask at least Babkha if they have any sort of official statement about all this. Possibly Ashkenatza should be asked the same, but since Ardy's not with them anymore anyway it probably wouldn't do much good unless we wanted to attempt isolating him internationally.
Tielion Loki... that was really the city's original name? It's been Ardashirshahr for so long I don't remember a time when it was anything else. The Elwynnese have renamed Ardashirshahr.
It is a nice name, though. I don't know if I'm pronouncing it correctly, but it like how it sounds when I try.

Re: Statement from Elwynn
Okay, boys, no-one's questioning you manhood. I think, again, we have a conflict of cultures here arising from the various magical/technological levels that various nations exist at. Natopia spent ages pushing forward until they had a spacefleet, as opposed to Shieroth who have always had access to said technology.Nathan of Natopia wrote:Ok, I'll let you have the bigger spaceship.... just means my penis is bigger.CJ Miller wrote:

CJ, what you propose to the Natopians is not dissimilar to Gralus saying "We don't care about international relations 'cause we can make fire rain from the sky and people tear their own skeletons out".
Nathan, what you propose to Shieroth is not dissimilar to a small child saying "Well, I was here first and I deserve it more than you!"
Perhaps we can avoid MAD for another week?

The city was briefly known as Tielion Loki during a Hyperborean occupation of the city. The name of Tielion Loki is "City of (Kaiser) Loki" in a Hyperborean language (I can't remember which...).Tielion Loki... that was really the city's original name? It's been Ardashirshahr for so long I don't remember a time when it was anything else.

Like hell! It was way before your time Fides, but Shireroth and Jasonia started at a reasonable beginning. JASO at Amity launched a bunch of unmanned flights before having the first man in space.Demon of Fides wrote: magical/technological levels that various nations exist at. I have no problem with people claiming ridiculous technological capabilities, but there's next to no respect for the process anymore. It's always just "oh hai, I've got the biggest pieces of technology ever and I didn't have them yesterday." Jasonia's Omen Gravship was ridiculous in capabilities and technology, yet still gained largely universal recognition abroad as being one of the most powerful military weapons ever. I believe at least partially this was because of the sheer amount of descriptive effort that went into explaining its development, which took almost a year in real time to do. It was all nonsense, but at least it was nonsense that we weren't using as just a pissing contest.

*notes that Jötunn has a LOT of development to go though* the dvergr prototype will not be produced until we can, of our own efforts, actually put things into space and such things.

Re: Statement from Elwynn
Everyone!
All I am saying to Mr Miller is that he should stop threatening to destroy one of Elwynn's cities. Since Natopia is proud of its spacefleet, I merely used it as an in-character 'bargaining chip'
Fides: You mean we should allow Shireroth to allow Safiria to destroy one of our cities because it was Shireroth's first? I really don't see what you mean by the small child analogy. I think any city deserves not to be destroyed by a space-borne weapon, regardless of its political affiliation.
Besides, as Daniel has said, the city is renamed, the Traitor's name and legacy has been defaced from all public signage and I hope elves or whatever mythical creatures he was famous for murdering come to repopulate the city out of spite.
-----
Anyway I suspect the Safirian space program is based loosely off of Star Wars-scale ships, and the Natopian spacefleet based on Star Trek-scale ship Continuing this discussion could get ugly :P
