I just want you to know that I think you are doing a wonderful job, in spite of what some people might suggest to the contrary. However I must note with concern that CJ still lives and breathes amongst us. I have every confidence that you will find the time to purge him without mercy or pity before the transition to the dread conciliatory reign of a scion of Kalir. My patience is of course infinite. That said I would much prefer that the casting of a certain individual from a helicopter into the sea from a great height, with naught to accompany him on his lonely descent save for a bicycle chained to his wrist, were to occur sooner rather than later.

I'm fine with your rule, to be honest. I had some concerns, but think it's gone rather well, despite the nay sayers.

Though, we might be served well by a lowkey next Kaiser. Not a revertists one, but one that won't be to harsh or try dramatic changes. That being said, maybe those make like more fun.

Really, about the only Kaiseress-related complaint I have is about the self-described confrontational tone. I can see the point of the statement "conflict is good, if we can learn to handle it", but it seems to me that this only holds true for given values of conflict, mostly those of the more deliberate, scheming kind of conflict than the rage-driven conflict that seems to have become more prevalent lately. Maybe the former is what was being aimed for, and that might be useful; but what we're getting is the other, and it's just poisoning the air.

For full disclosure, I should also add that I am, and have been for many years, an extremely strong disbeliever in the idea that frustration and aggression build up because people try not to step on each others' toes. They build up because people don't let go of them. </soapbox>

So in essence, people are jerks and can be best managed through a mixture of bribery, appeals to vanity and, when all else fails, blatant coercion.

I'm not sure how realistic this is. Bribes usually work in the case of specific, one time actions. Pay someone to look the other way or sign off on an inspection. You can't get people to change their opinions and minds with a bribe. If you're going to give him hush money and expect long-term results than there should be a way to revoke it (involuntarily on his part) if the breaks the agreement.
