Aster, I would like to formally welcome you to the Internet. We have lots of different kinds of trolls here. For instance, we have the traditional sort of troll, which is people who post controversial (and usually false) messages in order to disrupt on-topic discussion or stir up emotional responses. We have concern trolls, who infiltrate social groups and pretend to share their general goals but profess "concerns" in order to cause discord and uncertainty. We have people who caricature various stereotypes or groups - that's the sort of troll you're going to be finding on Conservapedia or Yahoo! Anwers. And then there's the most common group which, strangely, I don't really know of a modern name for, but that I would call Slashdot trolls because that's what I see as the prototype for their behaviour: People who post Internet memes or minor variations thereof because, hey, that's what they find fun.

Shireroth, I believe, would be largely socially incapable of responding to any sort of a concerted trolling effort from someone who actually had the will and ability to get under other people's skin. I say this based on, among other things, the only thread in the history of the nation with a significant quantity of fakeposting... which ended up collapsing horribly. We couldn't deal with an innocent question about legalised rape when we had just a couple of Babkhans (who are generally far less emotionally labile than the usual Shirithian) being sarcastic about it - do you have any idea what would happen if we had a troll raise up actually controversial subjects like the source of humanistic morality or the treatment of cats?

I'm telling this to you mostly because you seem to be making a big deal out of being a troll, and I just thought it would be a useful service to make sure you understand where you stand... and to say that I'm thankful you aren't being more than a meme-posting and "I LOL AT U" kind of, what do you call them, newfag? Generally, the actually competent trolls of micronationalism - I usually use Jacobus, Philip Locke and Delphi as the main examples when discussing this subject, and I suppose I could add Icebreaker here too - see Shireroth as the charmingly collectively incompetent bunch of misfits that it is, and refrain from doing more than poking some gentle fun at it. You have nothing to prove here, being that putting the slightest bit of effort into really trolling in Shireroth (i.e. more than putting our flag on an image everyone's seen dozens of variations of already) is bound to produce more nerdrage than you will ever have a need for anyway. If you would like to graduate to higher levels of trolldom, I encourage you to put down ten bucks and hit up forums.somethingawful.com - a place where your level of creativity might earn you a couple of bans at first, yes, but it is the perfect place for you to learn and with time begin to understand the higher echelons of this beautiful art.
