In order to rectify the most unfortunate situation that occurred in the house of Kalir in due to confusion between the members of the House and the intents of the Kaiser, I hereby order that for as long as the Imperial Census is being held or until imperial will dictates otherwise, the following individuals are for all intents and purposes in the eyes of the imperial throne and law jarls of the imperial republic:

We need to be nobles temporarily so that we can amend the instrument of government to allow commoners to vote on the Council of Eliria, for when we revert. A slight bind, the Patron can only amend the Instrument on the advice of the Council, and at the present only nobles have votes. (We hadn't realised that Erik would be quite so reticent with the noblesse oblige when the damned thing was drafted...)
