Core county

I think we should claim Modan-Lach as our core county, since it has the old Ducal capital of Brookshire Hamlet. It's also a very developed county with a rich history and culture.

Developed by you if I recall. So that would give us good odds of getting it. :)

But it's a sound argument. Anyone else have any suggestions?

Developed by Max, actually.

Oh yeah. For some reason I thought you did it.

Bonus points: Modan-Lach borders on Kralizec, so House Mortis would have a nice big contiguous heartland. I have no problems with this.

Just for completeness' sake, though, I would also like to point out Thanatos. I know it used to be under Lakhesis, though I assume it's not anyone's since the institution of the Houses. But although it doesn't have quite the prestige of the seat of old Brookshire, you have to admit that a county with a name meaning "death" and a major city called Mortis Mercatoria would be a good add to a House Mortis. :document

I would ask that, even if not chosen as a core county, we should endeavor to get hold of Thanatos at some point in the future, because then we'd be up to our eyeballs in style!

We do have Thanatos. It has been renamed the Nation of Lakhesis. I reclaimed Amarr to the Imperial Lands. There is a city on one of the islands in Lakhesis named Thanatos. I try to commemorate old names like that. I did the same with Port Solecism.

Ahhh, excellent. I stand happily corrected.

Modan-Lach shall be the Core County if not one objects then.
