Winter 1903 - (dancing) Fiesta! (romancing) Siesta!

France and Germany are not in the mood for retreating so both units get disbanded.

The French Revolution proceeds... but it turns out that the one nation in the position to immediately make use of this state of anarchy must be having its own political problems, since Italy turns in no orders this turn. Austria, on the other hand, certainly makes use of its opportunities by taking Venice. In other parts of Austria, Vienna supports Budapest's succesful move into Galicia, while Rumania tries to feebly attack Ukraine. The Russian counterattack, however, also fails due to the aforementioned Budapestian attack's cutting off the support from Galicia.

Turkey's other moves are to Moscow and, with support from the Black Sea, to Sevastopol, but they fail due to bumping with the Russian move from Warsaw. They also support Austria's defense in Rumania, but at the same time bring in a tank from Greece to Albania to keep them honest. Russia does gain itself a center by taking Norway from the trusting England, though.

Meanwhile in the west, another big mess is made around Holland; England attacks it from the North Sea with support from Belgium and the Heligoland Bight. The attackers arrive to see nothing but burnt houses and salted fields, however, as Germany has already retreated in order to place its armies in Holland and Ruhr to Ruhr and Burgandy (finally!) respectively. Munich supports the latter move, while the former one's support is cut off by England's attack from Denmark (but since the move was unopposed it works anyway). Oh, and England supports Belgium's defense from the Channel.

One retreat order this turn: Russia, you can retreat from Galicia to either Silesia or Bohemia, or disband the army. Your deadline for the retreat order is Fri Dec 18 12:00:00 UTC 2009, publicly in this thread.

As for the rest, well, it's builds time, so:

Austria gains the supply center of Venice and gets to build the unit they missed out on last time around, and so get two builds.
England gains Holland and Belgium but loses Norway, and so gets to build one unit.
Germany loses Holland and Denmark, and has already disbanded a unit, and so must disband one unit.
Russia gains Norway and loses Sevastopol, and lost a unit earlier. Depending on whether the Galician army disbands or retreats, Russia gets to build one or two units.
Turkey gains Sevastopol and gets to build one unit.

Build/disband orders are due Sat Dec 19 12:00:00 UTC 2009 (that's in two days!).
No-one should be without a parasol, Sirocco.
