The Sun rises over the Europe of 1901.

Commanders

Scott of England
Harvey of France
Icebreaker of Germany
Ryan of Italy
Ardashir of Austria-Hungary
Malliki of Russia
and Andreas of Turkey

... having attained, inherited or seized full control over the entire militaries of their nations, prepare to compete for supremacy over Europe. Or, well, at least control over 18 supply centers, but that's more than close enough.

Submit orders to me by email or PM as in the rules summary. Orders for the first turn are due Tue Nov 24 12:00:00 UTC 2009. Remember, shoot straight, conserve ammo... er... I mean, remember, only by the power of :love LOVE :love and friendship can you and your allies conquer Europe together!

Pardon me, chap, but perhaps it wouldn't be a spot of bother for you to find a map with the full names of the provinces on there? It adds a bit of flavor, and I'd hate to be dueling it out with Gerry in the trenches without being quite sure quite where we're fighting. Good man.

Your humble servant,
Lord Scott of Thrapstonwickshire-on-Fleem

Oh, heavens no, not Jerry, we have nothing but respect for our German brothers and sisters. We were referring to this blighter.

I THINK ME AND SCOTT WANT TO SHORTEN THE TURN LENGTH TO THREE DAYS, BTW.

WHAT SAY THE REST OF YOU UPSTANDING GENTLEMEN?

Three days is good. Alternatively, having the orders due on the same two days per week is also good. Like a Tuesday / Saturday kind of thing maybe.

Five days would be better for me. I can probably not handle such a short deadline.

I'm on holidays now, so suits me.
The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave.
However, this account still manages:
Cla'Udi - Count of Melangia
Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy

And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).

Two players have not yet submitted their orders. You have... about three hours before deadline. If I receive no moves I'm just going to have all of your units hold. The results will not be pretty for the nations involved :knife

Also, I'm going to give a five-day deadline for the next turn, too... but unless there are significant protests it'll be shortened into a regular-ish twice-a-week deal after that.

I'm writing mine up right now.
