Winter 1901

Things are already getting weird, and only on the second turn!

Russian and German fleets battled over Sweden inconclusively as the Austrian army and Italian navy made a mess of Greece with no clear winner. French and German forces also quarreled on land. Turkey went through a complicated number of support maneuvers designed to aid a french invasion of Italy, but the for whatever reason the French tanks never moved and the support was ineffectual. Curiously, the Italian commander issued an order to his army in Tri to hold, which is a little odd since there's a fleet in Tri and it's not his, but luckily the Venice army he was probably trying to tell to hold anyway also did hold and did not get dislodged due to the French attack that failed to materialize.

Meanwhile, both waterways contested last season were surrendered without a fight; the English channel to England in the north as the french ships sailed out to sea for some reason and the black sea to the Austrians due to the inaction of the local Russian fleet. The Russians also moved into Rumania in a well-supported move that was not challenged by local Turkish forces.

Build phase!

Austria can built ZERO units.
England can build ONE unit.
France can build ZERO units.
Germany can build TWO units.
Italy can build ZERO units.
Russia can build ONE unit.
Turkey can build ONE unit.

The next turn will end whenever I get build orders from everyone that can build. Reminder that you can only build on your starting supply centers, not that you have much choice at this stage. Hopefully we'll be on to Spring 1902 pretty soon.
