We succeeded in getting the Ocean Palace through Council Approval and onto the map ... for a day there it seemed only a matter of time before Straylight sancts were added ....

But someone pointed out the Ocean Palace to Spangle in council and he thinks it's an 'illegal city'. He also sited Momuchi in Toketi but that's been on there for over a year ....

Actually, that would have been me on #micronations, not the council.

I'm pretty happy dr-spangle reacted the way he did... well, not perfectly happy, I'd have preferred he'd taken it public right away... but anyway! I'm trying to turn it into either an open-and-shut case that causes some explicit rules to be written, or a judgment call that only applies to this one claim. In the former case I'll be able to challenge the rules, perhaps on some claim unrelated to Straylight. In the latter case, I won't have to challenge anything at all. Both scenarios are vastly preferable to the current situation where a couple of rejected claims and something that Pete probably said in the council's secret forum or something are considered immutable and unquestionable law in the MCS.
