MNN Admin

Post by Andreas the Wise »

If I were a nasty suspicious person ... I'd say Will has done exactly what would have been expected of him to use MNN admin status as a way to maximise the GSO and his own power within it.
Dr-Spangle (New Empire) - Because he's the obvious one MCS council member to ask, despite the fact he's said he doesn't want to be admin even on Microhub
Hesam Jayatar (Babkha) - Perfect way to keep Babkhan support for the GSO
Michael Dervin (Ocia) - A beautiful move this - get's Ocia but doesn't have to work with Matt Kovac.
Chrimigules (Antica) - They were on GSO, and probably couldn't be stuffed to join, but might now ...
Not saying that these people won't necessarily do a good job, but there could be clear other reasons for picking them.
The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave.
However, this account still manages:
Cla'Udi - Count of Melangia
Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy

And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).

I like Chris and trust him.
Kovac says he controls Ocia and Mike is just a figurehead. Not sure how much I believe that. Looks to me like Kovac's being outmanuevered.
I'm a little pissed he hasn't even considered asking a Shirerithian or Pete.

Also, I'm almost sure Chris of Tellia used to be on that list. I wonder what happened.

Chris of Tellia was confused with a different Chris.

I asked Chris of Tellia. Will thought he was the one who bought the domain name. When he found it was Chim, he dumped Chris. So now we know why Chimrigules is on the council too ....

That sorta kills your theory that Will has some evil master plan going.
Interesting thought - if Chris says no, next in order of "minor contributions" could be me and my favicon. One can always dream :p

Does it? It suggests he's getting Chim because Chim controls the domain plan, and ditching Chris (who could do a fine job) because he doesn't have any other advantage ...
